In the renowned QS World University Ranking by Subject 2025, published today, the Mozarteum University was ranked 12th worldwide, 9th in Europe and 2nd among institutions in the German-speaking countries.
Anastasiia Larina receives scholarship from the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA). She comes from Kherson/Ukraine and has been studying the MA Applied Theater - Critical Theater Practice and Community at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum University since 2023.
Music and Sound Beyond the Human: This conference aims to contribute to this ongoing development, and to put special emphasis on the ethical and political dimensions that come into play in regard of other-than-human creativity and aesthetics. In October 2025, Mozarteum University will launch a new Master's programme in Open Arts that is unique in Austria. The Master's programme is inter-, trans-, multi- and even non-disciplinary in nature and is aimed at students from all subject areas who want to break down disciplinary boundaries in their artistic practice and open up new paths in the long term.
