After over 20 exciting events in the past academic year with more than 500 children and young people, we are starting the winter semester 2024/25 with a colourful bouquet of educational offers. As part of the Moz-Art-Zone, we are linking special events for school classes to the broad spectrum of university offers and thus want to give children and young people access to music, art and culture. The focus is on young people meeting (young) artists who offer an insight into the artistic work of the various departments at the Mozarteum University.

The Moz-Art-Zone offers a colourful mix of activities, from a visit to the opera with an artist talk and theatre lab to special educational concerts and hands-on workshops in the graphics workshop.

In the second part of the brochure, you will find various offers that can be booked individually and independently of predefined dates. These include our newly programmed free app ‘cult.spot’, which guides you on a musical scavenger hunt through Salzburg, as well as an offer from our university library, which invites you to visit its great (musical) treasures and take a look at the archives. The Department of Applied Theatre also offers individually bookable appointments to get to know their work. A big thank you for your willingness!

The current programme retains the framework conditions that are favourable for schools, so that the events mainly take place during the day from Monday to Friday in order to be integrated into the school day in the best possible way. This also includes the favourable admission price of a maximum of € 5, and in some cases there is also a free offer.

Registrations for the individual educational programmes are accepted on a class-by-class basis at moz-art-zone@moz.ac.at.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all students and teachers at the Mozarteum University for opening their doors to young people and allowing them to experience art!
