Under the title Narrated History, in-depth interviews have been conducted since 2012 with former and current faculty and staff members of the Mozarteum University. The interest is focused on the personal memories of the interviewees about the Mozarteum, colleagues, events, special events as well as everyday life.

Pianist Robert Bily wins The Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize 2022 Five finalists competed for the coveted 20,000 euro The Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize 2022 (made up from 2021) at the Solitaire of the Mozarteum University yesterday (14 April). The evening's double winner was pianist Robert Bily, who enchanted both the high-calibre jury and the audience with a breathtaking interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata (Piano Sonata No. 21 in C major op. 53), Claude Debussy's Images I and Siegfried Thiele's Perpetuum Mobile.

¡Los Bernarrrdá's! Based on "Bernarda Alba's House," Federico García Lorca's drama that has been performed most frequently around the world to this day, the 4th year Drama and Directing class, under the direction of Anja Herden, will deal in "¡Los Bernarrrdá's!" with being trapped, hysteria, fear of life, and the longing for freedom as a primal human drive, and will tell of people who are both victims and accomplices of their own oppression.

Nexus of Textile and Sound at the FWF PEEK Program Gertrud Fischbacher and her cooperation partner Marius Schebella (FH Salzburg) were awarded with the project "Nexus of Textile and Sound" at the annual funding program of the FWF for the development and opening up of the arts (PEEK)! They won the Research Competition Mozarteum (RCM) at the end of 2019, the PEEK application, which is based on intensive local cooperation with the FH Salzburg, is a further development of the RCM project.

Tour of the Department of Fine Arts & Design After a break due to corona, the Department of Fine Arts and Design is finally opening its workshops and studios again: from April 6 to 8, interested parties will have the opportunity to gain insights into the diverse work of young artists and to try their hand at numerous workshops. Concerts and performances round off the program. The Tour 2022 will be accompanied by a charity art sale for Ukraine.

Mozarteum meets Segafredo: Art, Coffee & Design In a competition organized by Segafredo Zanetti Austria, students from the Department of Fine Arts and Design at the Mozarteum University are designing the first collection of cups for enjoying coffee at home, which will be launched when the company's own online store goes live in summer 2022.
