Reinhard Blum, Johannes Steiner [Hg.]

The complex requirements of modern music teaching, which are subject to constant change, are still not sufficiently reflected in the field of tension between education and the requirements of the professional field. In addition, existing educational concepts are being called into question, so that a redefinition of practical piano content and goals also seems necessary in the context of current curricular transformation processes. Against this background, the contributions in this volume attempt to provide suggestions and ideas for answers to current questions and problems, as well as to point out necessary and promising perspectives for the future.
