Barbara Tischitz-Winklhofer
Barbara Tischitz-Winklhofer is a trained secondary school teacher for the subjects music and German as well as a special education teacher. She studied Elemental Music and Movement Pedagogy at the Orff Institute and after her studies worked as a music and movement teacher at various private schools and kindergartens in Spain.
For twelve years she worked as a lecturer at the PH Graz for subjects such as rhythm, music and movement, making music in integrative groups, early musical education and motopedagogy. Since 2014 she has been working as a lecturer and since 2019 as a senior lecturer at the Orff Institute in the Didactics department, where she works with students, a parent-child group, a mixed-age inclusive group and a seniors' group. Barbara Tischitz-Winklhofer is a member of the MTID (Music and Dance in Inclusion and Diversity) specialist group, the “Inclusion and Diversity” working group and a member of the management team for the university course Music and Dance in Social Work and Integrative Education. She is also active in the further training of teachers and kindergarten teachers in Germany and abroad and works for vaLeo (GmbH for psychomotor development support) in the areas of motogeragogy and intergenerative competence.
