Peter Schreiner

Peter Schreiner studied history at the University of Vienna and photography at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel. Questions about the relationship between event and interpretation, between historiography and poetry, are at the center of his artistic research. He uses reproductive processes such as photography, video, and text, whose traditional ties to a given, clearly determinable reality are increasingly dissolving. He is a member of the Galerie Fotohof.
