The Opus Klassik in the category "Instrumentalist of the Year" goes this year to Mozarteum professor Dorothee Oberlinger   - for her recording  "Night Music"  with the Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca (dhm/Sony Music). The Opus Klassik is the successor prize to the ECHO, which the recorder virtuoso has already won three times since 2008.
The  Vienna Piano Trio with cello professor Clemens Hagen who has been teaching at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg since 1988, also receives an Opus Klassik - for its recording of Beethoven's Piano Trios op. 97 & op. 1,3 in the category "Chamber Recording Trio" (MDG/DDD).

Reinhard Goebel, Mozarteum professor for historical performance practice, can be pleased about two awards at once. For the first album of the CD series curated and recorded by Reinhard Goebel on the occasion of the Beethoven Year  "Beethoven's World"  (Sony Classical) with violin concertos by Franz Joseph Clement, the Mozarteum professor is also honored with the OPUS KLASSIK in the category "Concert Recording of the Year (Violin)" - together with soloist Mirijam Contzen and the WDR Symphony Orchestra.

The prizes will be awarded on October 18 at the Konzerthaus Berlin during the award ceremony broadcast by ZDF.
