Arts, images and media shape the way we look at the world. In the studies Visual Education (BE) and Design: Technology.Textiles (GTT), the focus is on exploring the field of tension of the creative, the receiving as well as the mediating handling of arts, images and media in its multiple interactions. To what extent is production always also a passing on of knowledge? Where are production and reception inseparable? At what point is receptive practice a prerequisite for successful mediation? Within the framework of information events and portfolio consultations, the department provides introductions to the two studies, followed by guided tours of the studios and/or participation in workshops. satellite exhibitions
Last but not least, the 2022 tour can also be walked in the context of two satellite exhibitions.  Parkvisionen  is an exhibition of the designs for new learning, action, recreation, dialogue and exhibition spaces in the park of St. Virgil, which were created as part of a cooperative project between students from the Department of Wood Technology and Wood Construction at the FH Kuchl and the Design: Technology.Textiles program at the Mozarteum University. The exhibition  Dialogue  on Inclusion and Diversity can be seen in the gallery DAS ZIMMER and shows different positions that were created in collaboration between students of the Department of Fine Arts and Design and artists* of Lebenshilfe OÖ/Kunstwerkstatt Gmunden.
