Institute for Chamber Music

The Institute for Chamber Music coordinates everything at the Mozarteum University that relates to chamber music. This includes all curricular matters (from compulsory courses to the introduction of a master's programme in chamber music), the foundation of a chamber orchestra and the expansion of exchange programmes with other music institutions. Furthermore, the institute organises regular masterclasses, a chamber music competition, internal and external concerts, and its own chamber music festival.
