Albert Weilguny

Albert Weilguny has been teaching speech training at the Mozarteum University since 1992. He also works as a speech coach for various Salzburg dance theater productions and continues to work occasionally as an actor for theater and film.
Albert Weinguny (*1957) completed his acting training at the Mozarteum University. He was then permanently engaged as an actor at the Zurich Playhouse, the Osnabrück Municipal Theater, the Darmstadt State Theater and the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden. He has also made guest appearances at the Schauspielhaus Graz, the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Theater Luzern and the Salzburg Festival. His most important roles include the Prince of Homburg, Don Carlos, Orest, Trigorin and Albin/Zaza in the musical  La cage aux folles.   In 1980 he received the actor prize at the 10th North German Theater Meeting. Among other things, he was seen as an actor in the films "I vow" and "Silentium" by Wolfgang Murenberger. Since 2012 he has been a certified teacher for Kristin Linklater voice training.
