Maria Anisimova is a trained clarinetist, saxophonist and pianist as well as a music teacher. After her studies at the Mozarteum University and at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi she founded her own chamber music and jazz project. With both projects she performed at various music festivals. Maria Anisimova also performs as a clarinetist with various orchestras, plays concerts as a solo musician and conducts workshops.
After graduating with distinction in 2009 from the Gnessin Music School in Moscow, Maria began her bachelor's degree in concert clarinet at the Mozarteum University (class of Univ.-Prof. Emil Rieder). Maria won prizes at various international music competitions while still studying at the Mozarteum University.
From 2012 to 2013 Maria studied as an Erasmus student at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan (class of Prof. Sergio Delmastro).
After completing her artistic studies, Maria founded a chamber music and jazz project, where she not only worked as a musician, but also as an arranger and composer. Maria is also in great demand as an orchestra musician. She has played in concert halls such as Großes Festspielhaus, Wiener Musikverein, etc.
