Hanna Keßeler graduated with distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with a degree in rhythm and music and movement pedagogy (special and remedial education, flute). She is also a certified movement pedagogue and teaching trainer of the Franklin Method® as well as a certified music physiologist (UdK Berlin) and a certified teaching trainer in "Optimal Üben" at the HfMT Cologne.

She has been a lecturer at the Rheinische Musikschule Köln since 2004, teaching flute, elementary basic level and musician's health. Since 2008 she has been a lecturer at the Cologne University of Music and Dance for the subjects of embodiment, dance/body training, performance coaching and the Franklin Method®. Since 2010, she has also been a lecturer for further training in music schools on the topics of mental coaching, musicians' health, optimal practising and individual training for professional musicians and music students. Since 2019, Hanna Keßeler has been a lecturer at the Mozarteum University for the subjects of music and medicine, performance, competition and audition coaching, physical and mental coaching, somatic methods, music physiology and breathing and body training.

Since November 2019 she has been a board member of the German Society for Musicians' Medicine and Music Physiology (DGFMM). Active member of the Austrian Society for Music and Medicine since 2009.
