Claudia Bauer
Claudia Bauer (*1968 in Innsbruck) received her musical education in the field of Elemental Music and Movement Education in Innsbruck and in Germany. She teaches at the Tyrolean State Conservatory Innsbruck in the course "Elementary Music and Movement Education" and in the framework of the cooperation with the University Mozarteum in the bachelor and master program IGP the courses Elementary Music Making with the Very Old, Instrumental Didactics with the Very Old/Making Music with the Table Harp, Elementary Music Making with Children from 5-6 Years as well as Fundamentals of Elementary Music Education.
Claudia Bauer has been involved for years in the dissemination of the table harp and leads corresponding courses in and around Innsbruck and in Austria, in order to open the way to high-quality, beautiful-sounding music-making for people with no previous musical knowledge.
She works as a psychological counselor in her own practice and is active as an outpatient counselor through the Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Innsbruck-Land. She is also a lecturer at the Institute for Childhood and Development, where she leads seminars in continuing education for professionals who work with children, adolescents and families.
