Franziska Strohmayr is a versatile and renowned violinist, project manager and lecturer. In her work, she combines musical excellence with creative approaches and a strong commitment to interdisciplinary projects and the promotion of cultural exchange.
Franziska Strohmayr performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician at renowned festivals and concert series, including the ION Nuremberg Music Festival, the Ammerseerenade classical music festival, the Carl Orff Festival, the BachZeit Festival Mondsee and Toujours Mozart organised by the German Mozart Society. She has a special collaboration with the composer Wilfried Hiller, who has dedicated several works to her that have been published by Schott. Her discography includes CD productions with TYXart and her own label Leni Records, including the complete works for violin solo and violin & piano by Wilfried Hiller as well as solo works by H.I.F. Biber, G.P. Telemann and J.S. Bach.
Franziska Strohmayr is also known for her innovative tour formats such as the Kulturbiathlon - Mit Violine und Fahrrad, in which she covers the entire tour route on a bicycle. She also initiates and directs interdisciplinary projects that combine music with acrobatics and light installations. In addition, Franziska Strohmayr holds workshops on project management for musicians at music academies in Germany and Austria as well as at German music organisations.
