Patrik Hofer

Patrik Hofer (*1991) has been a trumpet player in the Rundfunksinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB) since 2015 and has been teaching his own trumpet class at the Mozarteum University Salzburg since 2022.
He received his first trumpet lessons at the age of 7 at the local music school in Wattens and started as a junior student at the Mozarteum Innsbruck at the age of 16.
In 2017, he graduated from the Mozarteum Innsbruck with a diploma in music education/instrumental music education and in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in trumpet performance from the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
During his studies, he earned two academy positions in the Konzerthausorchester Berlin (2013) and the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker (2013-2015).
In addition to his work as a teacher and with the RSB, Patrik Hofer has been and continues to be a regular guest soloist with the following orchestras with the following orchestras: Berlin Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, Bavarian State Opera Munich, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Stockholm Radio Orchestra, DSO Berlin, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Saarländischer Rundfunk, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Volksoper Vienna, Staatsoper Berlin, Munich Radio Orchestra, Haydn Orchestra Bolzano/Trento, Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck, Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra Constance, etc.
He also performs regularly as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles such as Musicbanda Franui, Pro Brass, brass section of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra,...
In his home country he cultivates his love of folk music, especially with the group ‘Die Inntaler’.
