Since October 2022, the Moz-Art-Zone has been offering an interdisciplinary music and art education program that arouses enthusiasm and interest among students and opens the doors of the university wide for this purpose. On November 30, 2022, the first large Christmas Carol Sing Along choir concert took place with 150 Salzburg students.

With Dylan on the Road - Bringing it all back home Inspired by the polyartist Bob Dylan and his approaches of appropriation and transformation, nine artistic-explorative teams of two from the Mozarteum University were on the road in South Africa, the US, Mexico, Europe and Latin America during the first half of 2022. The results are nine art projects that will be premiered on October 14 and 15 as part of Jazz & The City, accompanied by a symposium "Inspired by ... commemorating 60 Years of Bob Dylan.".

Selection procedure for singing of The Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize The Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize of the Mozarteum University was offered for the first time in 2019 and annually honors a student personality who knows how to convince with musical creative power, poetry and a unique charisma. The sponsor of the highly endowed award (20,000 euros) is the successful British businessman and philanthropist Sir Ian Stoutzker, who founded the organization Live Music Now together with Yehudi Menuhin in 1977.

Prize of the Ruhr Piano Festival 2022 for Yaara Tal & Andreas Groethuysen Every year, the Ruhr Piano Festival honours artists whose life's work is closely connected to the festival with its prize. The duo Yaara Tal & Andreas Groethuysen played their 17th concert at the Ruhr Piano Festival on 8 July 2023. The "desire for shared sound" characterises each of their performances, for which they often put together special programmes for the Piano Festival.
