The winners of the excellent master theses 2019/2020 are: Maria Lydia Mayr (MA IGP Violoncello - Classical), Veronika Blachuta (MA Flute), Zsofia Moser (MA Opera and Music Theater) and Milan Stojkovic (MA IGP Piano - Classical). Congratulations!
Since the 2016/2017 academic year, the Mozarteum University has been awarding the "Prize for Excellent Master's Theses". This award recognizes outstanding theses of graduates who dedicate themselves to their selected topics in an innovative, original, unusual or particularly sustainable way.
The award winners are selected by a committee appointed by the Rectorate on the recommendation of the supervisor. For the excellent Master's theses 2019/2020, the committee consisted of Joachim Brügge, Barbara Dobretsberger, Wolfgang Gratzer, Mario Kostal, Pavle Krstic, Thomas Riebl and Franz Zaunschirm.

"The Ballade op. 23 by Frédéric Chopin" (scientific work, Supervisor: Barbara Dobretsberger)
