ASEA Uninet Call 2025
The ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) was founded in 1994 and is currently made up of over 80 universities in around 20 countries. The aim of the university network is to promote research and teaching activities between the member universities in Europe and Southeast Asia (in Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).

ASEA-UNINET Austria finances around one hundred bilateral and multilateral co-operation projects between Austrian and Southeast Asian member universities every year.

The funding is organized by the OeAD-GmbH/MPC in cooperation with ASEA-UNINET (on behalf of and financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research – BMBWF).
General information:
- All universities involved in a project must be ASEA-UNINET members or candidate members.
- At least one cooperating university has to be an ASEA-UNINET member university in Austria.
- All project participants in receipt of funding must be employees of the Austrian or ASEAN (incl. Pakistani) partner university/universities at the time the project is carried out.

- Austria
- Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam
Maximum age: No age limit
Project implementation period:
1-year projects: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026
2-year projects: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2027
