MOZ Festival 2023
There's no party like MOZ-Party: fusion of classical music, film music, pop, hip-hop, folk music, street sound and the finest big band sound - this year Yasmo & die Klangkantine will be among the guests! The festival will open with specially arranged film music.
The MOZ Festival will open this year with specially prepared arrangements of well-known film music, then the Big Band and the Marching Band of the Mozarteum University will provide the best atmosphere on the stage of the Max Schlereth Hall.
The program also includes the Lower Austrian newcomer band Schikk with earworm-producing pop and as an absolute highlight we are looking forward to Yasmo & the Klangkantine! Nominations for Amadeus Awards, Songwriter*in of the Year, FM4 Sessions and international appearances are among their agenda. In addition to the concerts in the Max Schlereth Hall, there will be performances in the Small Studio by smaller ensembles consisting of Mozarteum students, such as the Schallmooser Buam or DREA.
The MIDNIGHT SPECIAL will once again be arranged in the proven manner by the Andreas Hofmeir Tuba Ensemble, which will lead into the Foyer Party with the Upper Austrian street band Sound Gurus. Drinks and catering will also be provided ;)
The profit of the proceeds will go to the hardship fund of the ÖH for financially weak students of the Mozarteum University.
