Guided tour of the Orff Institute

The Orff Institute, located at the Mozarteum University, is an artistic-pedagogical-scientific place of study, further education and meeting place and offers a range of creativity-oriented approaches to music, dance and language. founded in 1961 on the initiative of the composer Carl Orff, the Institute was able to move into its own building in the south of Salzburg in 1963, where today about 110 students are taught by more than 30 internationally active teachers, artists and international guest lecturers in bachelor's and master's programs in the field of elementary music, dance and movement education, as well as in university courses.
Anna Maria Kalcher, University Professor for Elementary Music and Dance Education, will give a guided tour of the Orff Institute of the Mozarteum University, which will conclude with a small concert by the music ensemble Nava under the direction of Mandana Farsani.
