Intimate music - Great sound (2)
The Chamber Orchestra Project is the continuation of a collaboration between the Camerata Salzburg and the Institute for Chamber Music at the Mozarteum University, based on the idea of performing string quartet literature in a larger ensemble without losing the intimate music-making of a string quartet.
Chamber Orchestra of the Mozarteum University Musical Director: Gregory Ahss Gregory Ahss, the 1st concertmaster of the Camerata, takes over the concertmaster position of the chamber orchestra this time. The orchestra is again composed of master and postgraduate students and presents works by Anton Bruckner, Dmitri Shostakovich and Franz Schubert.
