The Mozarteum University congratulates its alumna Alexandra Karastoyanova-Hermentin on receiving the Grand Art Prize of the State of Salzburg 2024! The Grand Art Prize is endowed with 20,000 euros and is awarded annually alternately in the fields of visual arts, literature, music and performing arts.

With the founding of the SEM - Studio for New Music, the Mozarteum University has played a pioneering role in the field of computer music and creative work with new media in Austria since 1958. Today, it offers students a wide range of possibilities, from working with analog synthesizers to computer-based composition.
