Choral practice. Studies in choral singing and conducting
This book presents the results of several surveys on singing in German-speaking countries and shows the contexts from which young and adult choir singers come, what musical experiences they look back on, and what they think about various choir-related topics such as rehearsal design, practice aids, or digital apps. In addition, the focus is also on choir conductors. It is presented which aspects they would change in the training for choral conducting, how they organize choral practice and what motivates them in their work.
