Alessandro Misciasci

Alessandro Misciasci studied piano at the Conservatory "A. Steffani" in Castelfranco Veneto. In 1985, during the Summer Academy in Salzburg, he met Paul Schilhawsky, who brought him to the Mozarteum University in 1986 as a lied accompanist. Since then, he has worked there as a répétiteur. He has accompanied numerous courses of famous opera singers, including Josef Greindl and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, and has participated as a musical assistant in several productions of the Salzburg Festival, including those conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt with Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Daniele Gatti, Gianandrea Noseda and Christian Thielemann.
