Students who are chosen to study Master Oper at the University Mozarteum will be trained to become fit for the opera-stage within a two-year Master-program. The goal of our Master's degree is to train students to develop a self-sufficient, critical artistic personality and to make them equivalent, self-determined and creative partners of a director and a conductor in order to be able to withstand the international opera-business. Regular live performances with symphony or chamber orchestra provide insight into the operatic repertoire from Monteverdi to Contemporary Music. In addition to W. A. Mozart’s operas and further key works of the operatic repertoire there are regular classes, workshops and advanced courses to educate and establish on other theatrical genres and forms within the program of the two Opera classes.
