Erwin-Georg Neubacher

Lector specialized didactics in the field of technology / Design: Technology.TextileDepartment Fine Arts & Design
Erwin Neubacher has been active since 2005 in the organization and implementation of conferences as well as continuing education events, as a lecturer and reviewer and writes articles for professional journals. Since 1998 he has been a lecturer at the University Mozarteum  at the Department of Fine Arts & Design and teaches subject didactics/the field of technology.
Erwin Neubacher studied arts and crafts education at the Mozarteum University and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. He has been working as a handicrafts teacher in Salzburg since passing his teacher's examination. From 2001-2009 he was a lecturer for the didactic supervision of the course for teaching interns for the subject "Technical Works" in Salzburg. Since 2008 he has been involved in the development and management of the school-autonomous upper school subject "Design-Architecture-Technology" at the WRG Salzburg. From 2013 to 2014 he was a lecturer at the University of Education in Salzburg in the new joint teacher training course TTW (specialist didactics). He is a co-founder of the "Architecture-Technology and School" association, the Austrian Society for Didactics and the Federal Working Group for Technical and Textile Works of the Ministry of Education.
