Bernhard Hagspiel is a classical trombonist, physiotherapist and mental coach. Since 2019 he teaches the subjects physio- and mental coaching, performance and competition coaching and the seminar Lecture Recital at the University Mozarteum Salzburg.
Bernhard Hagspiel studied trombone concert and instrumental pedagogy at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In addition to his professional musical work, he completed training as a physiotherapist and also completed his training as a mental trainer in 2021. Since 2019 he has been teaching physical and mental coaching, as well as performance training and the Lecture Recital seminar at the Mozarteum University, works as a freelance musician and works as a physiotherapist in his own practice. Through his own experience as an orchestra musician - including in the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, the Staatstheater Nürnberg and the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg - Bernhard Hagspiel knows about the physical and psychological challenges that musicians* have to face every day, and combines this knowledge with his training to create a holistic approach.
